I am the CEO and co-founder of DvyUp, a social investing start-up for millennial investors, particularly those from diverse and underserved backgrounds.  

 

I am a cause-driven leader who works tirelessly to advance the ideals of justice, equity, opportunity, and inclusion for people with disabilities, women, and those in Black, Latinx, Asian, immigrant, religious, and LGBTQIA communities. I’ve worked to close the school-to-prison pipeline in Florida. I’ve fought voter suppression in Georgia’s Black Belt. My new mission is to close the wealth gap through this game-changing investment platform.

Prior to this, I drove rapid response and crisis management campaigns at the NAACP and Faith in Public Life. Previously a reporter for the Associated Press, I've chronicled some of the most important political issues of the 21st century.​
